Pear and Avocado Salad with Candied Pecans

Introduction:

Bet you never thought salad could be considered a comfort food!

Ingredients:

2 Organic Shaved Pears
1 Organic Avocado, cut with a spoon
1 Head of Romaine Hearts
2 Cups Arugula, chopped
1/2 Cup Pecans
1/4 cup feta cheese
1 Tbsp Truffle Honey
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Red Wine Vinegar
Truffle Oil
Ground Chili
Salt and Pepper, to taste


Instructions:

1. Candy the Pecans in a sauté pan with olive oil, salt, chili pepper, and glaze with the truffle honey.
2. Mix romaine hearts and arugula with olive oil, balsamic, and salt and pepper.
3. Plate the lettuce.
4. Toss the shaved pears into the remaining dressing in the bowl.
5. Portion on top of the lettuce. 
6. Add the feta cheese.
6. Spoon cut the avocado on top of each plate and dress with the candied pecans. 
7. Drizzle with red wine vinegar and truffle oil before serving.
